Uddhav Thackeray to Take Oath as Maharashtra Chief Minister:- After many dramatic moves, BJP failed to prove their majority and ahead of the floor test, Devendra Fadnavis submitted his resignation last afternoon. It is clear that NCP - Shiv Sena - Congress alliance is all set to return to power. A resolution on this has been passed unanimously and Uddhav Thackeray will take oath as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. The oath-taking ceremony will take place this evening at Shivaji Park, Mumbai tomorrow at 6.40 PM. All the crucial leaders of the three parties will meet today to finalize several crucial portfolios.

Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut said that Ajit Pawar will return back to the alliance. The alliance also confirmed that Uddhav Thackeray will be the Chief Minister for the next five years and there would be no sharing. In a major coup, Devendra Fadnavis submitted his resignation just three days after he took oath as the Chief Minister of the state. On Monday night, the alliance paraded 162 MLAs, staked claim to form the government and presented a letter of support to Governor BS Koshyari. Without disclosing much, Fadnavis cited 'personal reasons' for his resignation.
