Devendra Fadnavis Resigns After Ajit Pawar's U-turn:- In a dramatic incident, Devendra Fadnavis took oath as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra when NCP, Shiv Sena and Congress are in talks for an alliance. Soon the trio filed a petition in the Supreme Court and the top court asked BJP to prove their strength in the Assembly tomorrow. Soon after this, Ajit Pawar submitted his resignation as the Deputy Chief Minister of the state. Here comes the big surprise after Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis submitted his resignation. Devendra Fadnavis blamed Ajit Pawar saying that he supported us to form the government.
Addressing the media, Devendra Fadnavis said that they are not interested in horse-trading because of which he submitted his resignation. He said that BJP got a clear mandate in Assembly polls. Shiv Sena, Congress and NCP took a dig on BJP. Devendra Fadnavis said that the state received maximum support from the Centre from the past five years. Devendra Fadnavis said that they would sit in the opposition and become the voice of the people. The government of Maharashtra functioned with full transparency over the past five years.
