Telangana Government's Counter to TSRTC:- Telangana Chief Minister KCR is strict on his stand towards the employees of TSRTC. Despite of several attempts, the government decided not to fulfill their promises. Telangana government and the Chief Minister KCR imposed a deadline for TSRTC employees to join their services but this did not happen. KCR held a long meeting with the officials and party leaders yesterday. The Finance Ministry revealed that a decent budget is allocated for RTC from the past 16 years. It said that RTC got Rs 3903 crores as loans and investments. TSRTC now has to pay Rs 540 crores as tax for the Telangana government said the Finance Ministry of Telangana.
The Telangana government along with GHMC clarified that there are no dues to be cleared for TSRTC and the corporation has to pay Rs 540 crores in return for the government which is unpaid. Finance Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, Transport Secretary, RTC Incharge Sunil Sharma, GHMC Commissioner Lokesh Kumar made the statements and filed affidavits to the Telangana High Court. GHMC Commissioner said that they are in deficit and cannot bear the losses of TSRTC around their limits. GHMC reminded that they allocated an amount as budget every year but it won't happen this year. On the other side, KCR clarified that he is in plans to privatise the 5000 routes of the state soon.
