Chandrayaan 2 Loses Contact With ISRO:- Minutes before landing on the moon's south pole, Chandrayaan 2 lost its contact with Indian Space Research Organization when it was 2.1 km above the lunar surface. ISRO soon entered into an investigation mode. This is a heartbreaking moment for the entire country which has been eagerly waiting for one of the biggest achievements of India. ISRO says that the lost contact was completely normal and they started analyzing the data to figure out what exactly happened. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh lauded the courage of Isro scientists and said that Isro's mission to reach the moon is bound to succeed.

Earlier before this, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Bengaluru to watch the live landing of Chandrayaan 2. Modi addressed the nation today at 8 AM and he said that there would be no failure in science except experiments and efforts. "We look back over the complete journey and we are extremely satisfied with the efforts our scientists kept. Our team traveled far and the teachings will remain with us" said Narendra Modi.
