Yeddyurappa to Take Oath as New Karnataka CM:- After a huge high drama, JDS and Congress alliance lost in the trust vote in the Assembly. BJP is all set to form the government now. Karnataka BJP President BS Yeddyurappa is all set to take oath as the new Chief Minister of the state. He will take oath at 6 PM in the presence of Governor Vajubhai Vala. Yeddyurappa informed the Raj Bhavan about this and the necessary arrangements are being made. Yeddyurappa clarified that his cabinet will be finalized after discussing with the national president.
Yeddyurappa also met the Governor to claim the formation of the government and he requested him to administer the process. Yeddyurappa sent a letter of invitation to HD Kumaraswamy and Siddaramaiah. Yeddyurappa from the last couple of days held meeting with the party high command in New Delhi who finalized the Chief Minister candidate. Along with Yeddyurappa, Jagdish Shettar, Arvind Limbavali, JC Madhuswamy, Basavaraj Bommai and Yeddyurappa's son Vijayendra met Amit Shah in Delhi recently. JDS and Congress formed an alliance and ruled the state for 14 months.
