Congress and JDS Alliance to Face Trust Vote on Thursday:- Congress and JDS alliance in Karnataka has been facing the heat after a bunch of MLAs called it a quit and are in plans to join BJP. They approached the Speaker Ramesh Kumar and submitted their resignations. All the 14 MLAs sought police protection in Mumbai citing the threat from Congress leaders. Speaker Ramesh Kumar discussed about the issue and Trust Vote will take place on Thursday. The floor test will take place at 11 AM.

The Karnataka Council was adjourned till 11.30 tomorrow. Both the sides held placards as they staged protests. Karnataka Speaker Ramesh Kumar has said that he will take a decision on the matter after the Supreme Court's verdict tomorrow. BJP leaders led by BS Yeddyurappa meet Karnataka Speaker Ramesh Kumar. The high tension in the state is expected to come to an end by Thursday.
