Karnataka Speaker Refuses to Accept the Resignation of MLAs:- Karnataka Speaker Ramesh Kumar today refused to accept the resignations of the 13 rebel MLAs from Congress and JDS. Ramesh Kumar clarified that none of the resignations reached him till date and he said that he would take a call once they reach him. Ramesh Kumar addressed the media after the political situations heated up in the state. Ramesh Kumar also clarified that he will look at the resignations individually and not in a group.

Ramesh Kumar asked 10 Congress MLAs and 3 JDS MLAs to meet him at his office today to discuss about the resignation. No MLA sought the appointment of the Speaker till date. Ramesh Kumar wants a valid explanation in person to get their resignations accepted. The speaker had earlier said that his decision will follow the law and uphold the Constitution. The rebel MLAs who were in Mumbai moved to Goa last evening. There are talks that five more MLAs are in talks to turn against Congress and JDS.
