Sonia Gandhi's Special Invitation for TDP, YSRCP and TRS:- With less than two weeks for the Lok Sabha results in the country, all the national and regional parties are busy with their moves to ink alliances before the results. Congress is in touch with all the regional parties to get their support if they fall short of the magical figure after the results. UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi personally invited TDP, TRS and YSRCP for a meeting that is chaired on May 23rd in the national capital on the day the results would be out. Sonia Gandhi wanted all these parties to support Congress and their alliance against BJP to dethrone them.

Sonia said that they are in plans to dethrone NDA alliance and make sure that UPA doesn't fall short of the numbers post polls. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik too has been personally invited for the meeting. Sonia Gandhi penned personal letters to all the major regional parties. It is still unclear if TDP, TRS and YSRCP attend the meeting as per the request of Sonia Gandhi or if they will wait for the poll results to be out to plan some wise moves.
