AP Govt Too Announces SIT To Probe Data Theft:- The data theft case created a huge stir across the Telugu states. AP and Telangana leaders exchanged words which reached new heights in the recent times. After Telangana Government announced a Special Investigation Team (SIT) in the data theft case, AP Government too formed a SIT to probe data theft. Principal Secretary, Home, A R Anuradha issued an order constituting a nine-member SIT to investigate the matter further. Additional Director General of Police and Transport Commissioner N Bala Subramanyam will lead the team. Cabinet Minister K Kala Venkat Rao registered a case after which AP Government headed towards SIT.

Kala Venkat Rao alleged that TRS and YSRCP are on a common platform and wanted to attack TDP. Telangana Government announced SIT headed by Inspector General of Police Stephen Ravindra. Telangana cops registered a case against IT Grids on March 2nd as per the complaint filed by T Lokeshwar Reddy who alleged that the sensitive data of voters is stolen. The police seized electronic gadgets, hard-disks and other material from the company's office. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said Telangana had no power to register such a case.
