TRS Opposes Triple Talaq Bill In Lok Sabha:- It is quite clear that the leading TRS and All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) are in close talks and are all set for mutual benefits when needed. TRS party on Thursday opposed the Triple Talaq bill that came up for debate in Lok Sabha. TRS refused to clear its stand when the bill was placed earlier. TRS Parliamentary Party leader A P Jithender Reddy said that the bill is completely arbitrary. He called that the bill is misconceived.

AIMIM and TRS fought on friendly terms in the recent Assembly polls in Telangana. KCR recently clarified that he is working close with Owaisi to unite Muslim communities in the country. Triple Talaq bill says three years of imprisonment for  invoking instant divorce by uttering talaq thrice in a single sitting. The bill was passed in favor of 245 and 11 were against. Asaduddin Owaisi said that BJP is in plans to criminalize triple talaq and send Muslims to jail.
