CPI Warns Of Quitting Mahakutami

CPI Warns Of Quitting Mahakutami:- With Telangana elections heading in December, each and every political party is heading towards a massive election campaign. Congress, TDP, CPI and TJC formed Mahakutami and announced that they would contest together in the upcoming Assembly polls. However the division of seats is yet to come to an end after a series of meetings held. There are differences between them but all the political parties believed that they would be resolved soon.

CPI now warned of quitting Mahakutami if Congress continues to offer just three seats for the polls. CPI has been demanding nine seats in the polls while Congress leaders rejected the offer. After a series of discussions, CPI is now expecting five seats in the alliance. CPI is now on a strong stand to quit the alliance if the expected seats are not. One more meeting has been scheduled that will take place soon after which CPI will take the final call. On the other side, TJC has been offered one seat and its Chairman Kondandaram has been asked to stay away from the elections.
