Telangana TDP Wants 30 Seats In Mahakutami:- With TRS dissolving the Assembly, the elections in Telangana have been advanced and are likely to take place this year. Telangana TDP joined hands with Congress forming Mahakutami and announced that they would contest together in the upcoming elections. The discussions are on about sharing the seats and Chandra Babu Naidu who is in USA will take the final call on the number of seats once he returns back from USA. TDP initially wanted 45 seats and the latest update says that they are happy to contest in 30 constituencies finally. Congress is keen on giving 15 seats for Telangana TDP informed a source.

TDP is keen on getting half of the seats from GHMC limits but Congress is finding it tough to convince everyone as some of the strong Congress leaders hail from these constituencies. TDP senior leader T Devendar Goud's son T Veerenddar Goud started his campaign from Uppal constituency recently. Chandra Babu Naidu will shift his focus and will campaign in the state once he returns back from USA. Telangana TDP leaders met Chandra Babu recently and discussed about the plans and tours along with political meets that will be planned in the coming months in Telangana.
