YSRCP To Boycott Assembly Monsoon Sessions:- The opposition YSRCP party has decided to boycott the monsoon Assembly sessions in Andhra Pradesh which will commence from today. This is to protest against the 22 MLAs of the party who jumped into TDP. YSRCP has been fighting to defect the MLAs and they wanted a stringent action against them. The leaders of YSRCP penned an open letter to AP Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu saying that they would not attend the Assembly sessions till the Speaker disqualifies the defectors.

YSRCP called Assembly a haunted house which was a temple of democracy once. YSRCP even revealed that the defected MLAs have been attacking them in the house. AP Chief Minister Chandra Babu questioned YSRCP leaders why they continued to draw their salaries when they are not willing to attend the Assembly sessions. YSRCP avoided attending Assembly sessions during October last year and March this year. YSRCP Chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy wrote a letter to the Indian President seeking his intervention into the matter and defect the MLAs.
