Hyderabad Metro Witnesses Rise In Footfalls:- The prestigious Hyderabad Metro has been launched during November last year and it witnessed a mad rush during the month. However the count got declined as months passed due to various reasons. Now the footfalls in Hyderabad Metro witnessed rise slowly over this period. The regular traffic has been touching one lakh these days which is a huge relief. Hyderabad Metro sources revealed that metro turned out to be the favourite mode of transport.
Last Sunday witnessed 1.18 lakh passengers and last Monday touched 1.10 lakh passengers. Sources informed that 68 extra trips have been planned on August 7th. Improved connectivity options and last mile connectivity contributed huge rise in footfalls. Hyderabad Metro has been covering Nagole to Miyapur in 55 minutes. The number of services have been increased from 18 to 22 trains and the number of smart card users to increased substantially. The operations between Ameerpet and LB Nagar will start shortly.
