Centre Says No To Foreign Aid For Kerala:- With rains shattering Kerala, contributions poured in from all the corners of the country. UAE, Qatar and Maldives have all pledged assistance to India to reconstruct Kerala but India will not accept the help offered by foreign governments. The Centre is extremely grateful for the offers but it clarified that its own resources can rebuild Kerala. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE's PM offered Rs 700 crores for Kerala. Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked Sheikh Mohammad for his gratitude.
Qatar offered Rs 35 crores and Maldives was ready to donate 50000 USD for the badly affected state. India politely refused all these financial aids revealing that it has enough money to reconstruct Kerala. The Kerala Government along with the Centre is taking care of the rescue operations. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan thanked all the Indian states who stepped out to donate huge amounts and turned out a helping hand when they are in need.
