BJP Cites Technical Reasons For The Delay In Polavaram Funds:- Union water resources minister Nitin Gadkari paid his visit to the Polavaram project yesterday and he revealed that the Centre is committed and will complete the project on the promised time. There has been a huge gap between the state and the Centre after BJP ignored granting special status category for Andhra Pradesh. Nitin Gadkari revealed that there has been no political reasons for the delay in granting the funds for Polavaram project.

He said that it was due to technical reasons, the funds have been delayed and they will continue to support the project. "This project is a matter of prestige for the nation and is important for the country. Our government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is committed to complete it" said Gadkari. He even revealed that the funds would bee released only after the clearance of the escalation cost of Polavaram project.
