Ameerpet - LB Nagar Metro Trail Run To Start Soon:- With the first phase of Hyderabad Metro serving lakhs of commuters every day, the Hyderabad Metro's next phase from Ameerpet to LB Nagar is nearing completion. The inspections are on and the Chief Electrical Inspector to Government of India (CEIG) DVS Raju is personally inspecting the Overhead Electric Traction System (OETS) between the stations. He also accorded sanction for energisation of the OETS.

The traction system is fed from Receiving Substation (RSS) of metro rail at Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station. The incoming supply is drawn from TS TRANSCO. DVS Raju revealed that the trail runs would start soon between Ameerpet and LB Nagar. Soon the stations from Miyapur to LB Nagar would be connected. An official date would be locked once the Hyderabad Metro completes the trail run period and after all the formalities get concluded.
