Megastar's Rajya Sabha Term Ends: No Signs Of Renewal:- Megastar Chiranjeevi keeping films aside tested his luck in politics after floating his own political party Praja Rajyam. Unfortunately he could make it to the power after which he merged his party in Congress. The actor turned politician turned Rajya Sabha MP in 2012 and worked as the Union Tourism Minister during UPA's regime. Soon after NDA won in 2014 elections, Chiranjeevi has been continuing in Congress.

His Rajya Sabha tenure is coming to an end with the ongoing Parliament sessions. Megastar Chiranjeevi is not in a mood to continue in active politics and his focus would be on films. However he would not make any announcement about quitting politics and he would continue in Congress. Megastar Chiranjeevi also revealed that he would turn active when needed and his focus as of now will be on Syeraa which is currently under shoot. This periodic epic is directed by Surendar Reddy and Konidela Production Company is producing this prestigious project.
