Team Of AP Ministers Meet Arun Jaitley About Special Status:- With Centre ignoring Andhra Pradesh in all the available ways, protests started across and people turned restless. The leading TDP has been facing the heat and decided to differ with BJP which the party supported during the last elections. The Centre asked a team of AP ministers and leaders to meet Arun Jaitley on March 5th and the meeting took place last evening in New Delhi. A team lead by Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu met Arun Jaitley to discuss about the special category for Andhra Pradesh.
Cabinet Minister Sujana Chowdary, MP Ram Mohan Rao, Kambhampati Hari Babu and Kutumba Rao attended the meet along with Yanamala Ramakrishnudu. The team conveyed a strong message that AP should be given special category status without any compromise. Along with these Industrial incentives, central grants and the tax concessions should be granted without further delay. Arun Jaitley revealed that it is the Prime Minister Narendra Modi who will be responsible for taking the decision on the special status for Andhra Pradesh.

Regarding the Industrial incentives, Suresh Prabhu will take the decision. BJP Chief Amit Shah who was to attend the meeting called it a skip. After the completion, Yanamala along with the team spoke to the media saying that they conveyed all their requirements for Arun Jaitley.
