Sridevi's Body Gets Clearance From Dubai Police:- Veteran actress Sridevi who passed away on Saturday left the whole country in shock. Her sudden demise created a lot of stir after the forensic report revealed that Sridevi passed away due to 'Accidental Drowning'. Dubai Prosecution wanted to conduct a detailed in-depth investigation because of which there has been huge delay in her mortal remains reaching the country.

Update: Dubai Police has handed over the Consulate and the family members letters for the release of the mortal remains of the Indian cinema icon Sridevi Boney Kapoor so that they can proceed for embalming.

Now the Dubai Police gave the clearance and handed over Sridevi's body to her family members in the presence of the Indian Consulate members. The clearance letters have been handed over to their family members and her body has been sent for embalming which will take couple of hours. However the Dubai prosecution informed that the investigation is currently on. Fans and followers of Sridevi gathered in huge numbers to her Mumbai residence. Sridevi's mortal remains are expected to reach the country after 9 PM IST. More updates soon.
