Modi Meets Karunanidhi: No Political Importance:- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been occupied with busy schedules and is on his visit to Chennai today. With AIADMK and DMK dominating the state, BJP has been in plans to gain prominence after which Modi has been spending time focusing on the state. He has been to Chennai for the platinum jubilee celebrations of a leading Tamil newspaper. Modi is all set to cover the wedding of an IAS officer’s daughter in Chennai today.

Modi during his visit met DMK Chief M Karunanidhi at his residence today and he has been welcomed by DMK leaders MK Stalin, Kanimozhi. The Indian Prime Minister spent 20 minutes at his residence enquiring about the senior politician’s health. BJP leaders revealed that the meet has nothing much to do with politics and Modi just paid a visit as Karunanidhi was unwell from the past few months. Modi interacted with Karunanidhi’s family members during the visit.
