Rs 200 Notes Launched: In Banks From Tomorrow:- The Reserve Bank of India has been taking quick actions and after a long survey, they decided not to repeat the past mistakes in terms of currency. They are making sure that the fake currency will not be circulated which has been causing a major disturbance to the society and for the common man. After Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the cancellation of Rs 1000 and Rs 500 notes, Rs 2000 notes and new Rs 500 notes have been introduced.
However there has been scarcity for change across the country after which Rs 200 notes have been planned to be introduced. RBI stepped out with an official announcement recently and the design along with the colour have been announced today. The new Rs 200 notes will enter the banking system from August 25th and the Finance Ministry confirmed the news. The new denomination would help in bettering the transactions informed Finance Ministry. The notes are in yellowish-orange in colour.
The new denomination of Rs 200 notes will have intaglio or raised printing of the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi along with Ashoka Pillar emblem. It also has a raised identification mark H with the micro text of Rs 200 and four angular lines along with two circles in between on both the ends of the note. The new notes will be in the dimensions of 66mm * 146 mm. A new system has been introduced which used micro letters of RBI, Bharat, India and 200. The RBI Governor's signature too has been added along with the Promise Clause and the RBI emblem. The year of printing has been mentioned on the left along with Swachh Bharat logo. Though an early announcement came that Rs 200 notes will be available from September first week, RBI today revealed that they will be available across all the banks in the country from tomorrow.
