Petition Filed Against RGV For His Comments On SIT

Petition Filed Against RGV For His Comments On SIT:- A petition against the director Ram Gopal Varma has been filed in the Ranga Reddy District Court for his comments on the Special Investigation team (SIT), which is investigating the sensational drug mafia case.

Advocate Ranga Prasad filed the petition against RGV. It may be recalled that the director stated that the excise department is targeting film personalities in the drugs case.

“Whatever the actual truth of the drugs matter the law in its own course might tell or not tell but for the moment Akun Sabharwal is being projected like Amarendra Bahubali by the Media ..Maybe S S Rajamouli should make Bahubali 3 with him,” he had remarked.

RGV on the issue of drugs being sold at schools and colleges stated that, “I am very much wondering if the school children taking drugs also will be summoned by SIT and interrogated for 12 hours like they are doing to Poori jagan and Subba Raju ..just asking?”

The advocate stating that such comments will have a demoralizing effect on the investigators, urged in his petition that people making the comments should be punished. In general, people have respect for the police and excise department and such comments are aimed at defaming the police department, said Mr. Prasad.
