11 Indians Killed in Saudi Arabia

11 Indians Killed in Saudi Arabia:- Many Indians fly to Arab countries for daily wage jobs to make it big in terms of savings. However they have been many tragic situations that take place there as Indians are treated as slaves. In the southern city of Najran in Saudi Arabia, eleven Indians have been killed in a fire accident which left tragedy in many families across the country. Five of them hail from Uttar Pradesh, three from Kerala and one each from Tamil Nadu, Punjab and Bihar informed sources. The Indian Consulate in Jeddah has been providing support for all the deceased families.

The External Affairs Ministry stepped out with all the details of the persons who have been killed in the tragic fire accident. The fire ripped into the house which had no windows and 11 have been killed on the spot. Five others have been severely injured informed the The External Affairs Ministry. The workers have been residing in the building which lacked minimum facilities. The External Affairs Ministry revealed the details of the victims and they have been in talks with the Indian Consulate there to bring back the remains of the deceased to the country at the earliest.

The External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Gopal Baglay from New Delhi informed that they have been in touch with the Indian Consulate frequently and have been kept about the updates. We are sure that all the assistance have been taken on time for the victims. The treatment has been extended for the five injured and they are recovering informed Baglay. It was because of lack of windows and due to suffocation, most of them lost their lives informed a source. Arab news revealed that the fire ripped into a windowless house in a farm which resulted in the loss of 11 Indian lives. The local civil defense authorities tried their best to save them informed news.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj in New Delhi said that she spoke to the Consul General in Jeddah and enquired about the fire crash in Najran. The Government of India is trying their best to bring back the bodies of the deceased to their hometowns informed Sushma Swaraj. The other injured have been recovering and a case has been registered about the incident. The owners and the other involved are being investigated. Other details to be revealed out soon. The Indian Consulate in Jeddah asked Indians to be careful.
