Subramanian Swamy Tweets Ranikanth’s Gambling Photo; Demands Probe Into His Wealth:- Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy, strongly opposing Tamil super star Rajinikanth’s entry into politics tweeted a photograph of the actor “gambling” in a US casino.
Swamy even demanded an investigation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) into his wealth.
Swamy Tweeted:
Wow! RK 420 in a US Casino gambling to improve his health!! ED must find out from where his $$ came from. pic.twitter.com/4UeUgg9yNN

When the latter is making all out efforts to join politics, the the tweet marks the senior BJP leader’s sharpest attack on Rajinikanth. Swamy had questioned Rajinikanth’s credentials as a “Tamizhan” earlier. He even said that his political debut would “spell disaster”.
“He has no future in politics. A new generation of very educated Tamilians who are assertive, influential now want national politics to come to Tamil Nadu. He is unsuitable for becoming the chief minister of Tamil Nadu,” Swamy had said.
While Thalaiva’s fans defended the actor saying, “He is a highly paid actor. He can afford it. Don't you think Sir ?” Swamy asked why did he go to the US when he can afford medical treatment in India. And he also called Rajini’s fans illiterate who can never understand why he did his PhD from Harvard.

The actor, over several interactions with his fans, had said the political system needed “cleansing” and if he took the political plunge, he would not allow “wrong people” to join him.
The 66-year actor, though he never confirmed clearly about his political entry, has been giving enough hints to join active politics by interacting with his massive fan base in the recent months, especially after the death of Jayalalithaa.
