Vijaya Shanti To Bid Goodbye To Telugu Politics?:- According to recent reports, actor-turned politician Vijaya Shanti has decided to bid a goodbye to Telugu Politics permanently.
She has even decided to shift to the neighboring Tamil Nadu. Vijay Shanti, who campaigned for the ousted AIADMK Leader and VK Sasikala’s nephew TTV Dinarakan, before the RK Nagar by-election got canceled recently met Sasikala in jail.
She reportedly sat with Sasikala for about 45 Minutes and also met Dinakaran before that. Sasikala is of the opinion that having a Strong Woman leader is important for the party and asked Dinakaran to admit her and give some responsibilities.
Sasikala and the other two, V N Sudhakaran (Sasikala’s nephew) and Ilavarasi (Sasikala’s sister-in-law) were sentenced to undergo an imprisonment for four years, in the Rs 66 crore DA case, which also involved late Ex TN Chief Minister Jayalalithaa in the case. The accused currently are serving sentence in Bengaluru jail.
In her Prime, Vijayashanti was called ‘Lady Superstar’. While she is in full demand in films, she took a plunge into politics with BJP and later floated her own party. After that, she merged it into TRS and played a very active role in Telangana agitation along with KCR.
Later on, due to some reasons, she differed with him and just before the 2014 elections joined Congress. She contested and lost in 2014 elections as MLA and that sealed her political career.
Now, it is learned that Vijayashanthi is going to form a party with the opponent of Rajinikanth and likely to enter Tamil Nadu politics.
