An email complaint received by the Irving mayor Beth Van Duyne and Dallas police, against the AP CM, has sent shock waves through NRIs, associated with the Telugu Desam party.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is on visit to the city as a part of week long official visit to several parts of USA. The anonymous email alleged that Naidu was responsible for the death of innocent citizens by branding them red sanders smugglers in the state and also for collecting huge donations from the US citizens without permission.
The email also alleged that Naidu was campaigning against the policies of US President Donald Trump. A US police party, following this, reportedly visited the place where the AP CM was meeting a few public representatives. The cops found an amass crowd at the dias, and provided security cover to Naidu and other members of the visiting delegation, perceiving a threat to Mr. Naidu from the anonymous email.
It is abuzz that the emails were sent by the supporters of YSR Congress. However, YSRC USA committee conveners Rathanakar Pandugayala and Guruva Reddy reacted immediately and refuted the allegations saying they were baseless and were being leveled by a section of media instigated by the TD supporters.
The fake news item circulating stated that YSRCP supporters staged a protest against a fund raising visit by TDP President and AP Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu in Irving, TX. The charge is ridiculous as there is little value for YSRCP in protesting the visit of a sitting Chief Minister, however ignoble his rule thus far in the newly bifurcated state of Andhra Pradesh has been. The Dallas subcommittee and Dallas City in-charge members, Krishna Mohan, Ramana Putlur, and Subbu kondeddu maintained that none of the committee and/or the YSRCP sympathizers in Texas are involved in any way with this supposed “protest” or the alleged complaint to the Irving city law enforcement and has dared the TDP to prove the allegations.
It is likely that this is an attempt to divert attention from the real news story circulating within the business community that a couple of outsourcing companies run by Naidu’s supporters have been subject to raids by USCIS (The US Citizenship & Immigration Services) department. This is yet another instance of TDP and its associates inserting completely untrue, unproven, and utterly false news in sections of the news media and online to bolster wrong claims and spread falsehoods against YSRCP, reported the YSRCP supporters.
The YSRCP USA Committee is resolved to denounce such wild rumors and claims as often as necessary.
