Janasena President, Pawan Kalyan, lashed out at the Telugu Desam Patty MPs, for their in attentive approach, over the issue of Special Category status to Andhra Pradesh.

The TDP members were noticeable by their absence from Rajya Sabha, when the crucial issue of special status, was being heatedly debated in the House, on Tuesday.

Referring to the discussion on Special Status, the Power star lashed out TDP MP, and honorable Minister, Ashok Gajapathi Raju, requesting the other TDP MPs, not to mortgage the self respect of Telugu people.

The actor, went on to say, targeting Ashok Gajapathi Raju in particular, “it is quite disheartening to see Honorable Minister, Ashok Gajapathi Rajugaru’s silence and the absence of TDP MP’s in the Parliament, when the discussion of Spl Status to AP came up”. “TDP has no right to compromise on the promised Special Category Status as TDP and BJP combine are voted to power, trusting that they would bring the Special Status to state.” The actor further went on his tweets:

He further stated, that the “YSRCP MPs are doing a commendable job in pursuing AP Spl status at centre.”
