Just a couple of hours ago, we have reported, the murder of an Indian woman along with her son, in Mappleset area, New Jersey, US.
The victims were identified as N Sasikala (40), and her son Anish Sai (7).
The report to the local police was made by the victim’s husband, Narra Hanumantha Rao, who is also a software professional working in the US.
N. Hanumantha Rao, saw his wife and son, lying in a pool of blood, in his house, when he returned from the office.
The family hails from Prakasam District of A.P.
It was assumed to be another hate crime against Indians, which is rampant after Trump became the President.
But, Sasikala’s parents, Venkateswara Rao and Krishna Kumari, who live in Vijayawada, have accused their son-in-law, behind plotting the twin-murders.
They alleged that Hanumantha Rao, was having extramarital affairs and that their daughter has shared her grief, several times on the phone.
The victim’s parents further added, that Rao plotted the murder of their daughter and grandson so that he could legally continue his extra marital affairs with a girl in his office.
According to the parents of the victim, “He (Hanumantha Rao) called me in the morning. He said Atthayya (aunt), Sasi and Sai died.”
He was pretending to be weeping. I told him that he had done those murders. He cut the call. When I tried calling back again, he did not answer”, Krishna Kumari told a local media in Vijayawada.
“He had been harassing Sasikala for the last two to three years”, said Venkateswara Rao. The couple said they had tried talking to him over phone, but, Rao refused to take their calls.
“He used to tell our daughter, that he would talk later. But, he never spoke to us. When he came to India twice during the period, he gave her an impression of a changed man by promising that he had come out of that relationship”, the couple said.
Local police, on the other hand, has registered a case, and are conducting an investigation from all possible aspects.
