In a shocking incident, a 24 year-old man, suffered injuries after he allegedly jumped from the platform of Malakpet railway station onto the tracks, in Hyderabad.

The victim was identified as Gauhar alias Raza, a resident of Chandrayangutta area in Old City, injuring himself.

Reason for this act was, as his proposal was reportedly rejected by a woman, whom he knew for just three days.

Both of them had met at a bus stop on Saturday morning. Raza and the woman, who claimed to be a nurse at a private hospital, had together left to Azamura in a an auto-rickshaw, according to the police sources.

The Chaderghat police said, “They reportedly went on to the platform and the woman who witnessed the incident claims that Raza, told her, if she does not accept his proposal, he will jump onto the tracks. And as she did not accept his proposal, he jumped.” The victim has suffered head injuries and was rushed to the Osmania General Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.

However, the police are trying to know the exact reasons what actually happened, as the woman is stating a conflicting version of the incident. According to her, the man was also reported in a drunk condition.
