Kapu agitator and political leader Mudragada Padmanabham tried for a massive padayatra protest across the Godavari districts but he has been restricted completely in making it successful. Though he could gain the support from many top Kapu leaders across the Telugu speaking states, he could not make it much out of it. He has been demanding BC status for Kapus which has been in discussion from the past few months. With making nothing much in the past few months, Mudragada Padmanabham is currently in new plans.

The latest update is that he has been making special plans to protest across all the districts on monthly basis. He revealed out the news during his Kapu Satyagraha Deeksha which took place in Kurnool yesterday. Mudragada Padmanabham targeted Chandra Babu Naidu accusing him of not keeping his words and promises that he made during the election campaign. Even the deadline has been crossed which was August 2016. Mudragada Padmanabham wondered that TDP government has not been responding about this and he is in plans to agitate soon with a massive step.
