On the eve of Jayalalithaa’s 69th birthday, her niece Deepa came out with an announcement that she will contest in RK Nagar constituency soon. The much anticipated announcement came out on this occasion and Deepa revealed that she is in plans to start her own political party that will consolidate AIADMK. She said that she would announce the details very soon. Deepa even said that Jaya is quite close to her heart and she is in no mood to work for Sasikala.

Deepa left everyone in shock by extending her support to O Panneerselvam who revolted against Sasikala and AIADMK. However she clarified that she has no plans to join with O Panneerselvam or with any other political party. We have to wait and see how AIADMK leaders and cadre will react to Deepa’s statement.
