Guv Vidya Sagar Rao Denies Swear-in Ceremony of Sasikala

Tamil Nadu Governor Vidya Sagar Rao, who interrupted at the last second to handle political situation in state, has rejected to give permission to Sasikala for swearing in ceremony.

In addition, he fired at TN CS and DGP for making arrangements for the ceremony without his official order.

Reportedly, Vidya Sagar Rao was so upset with the Raj Bhavan and in his 50-minute meeting with DJP Rajendran, TN chief secretary Girija Vaidyanathan & Police Commissioner of Chennai-George.

He asked to find out those who made arrangements at Centenary Hall, Madras University in Chennai. The officers have spent lakhs of rupees for the event which was meant to crown Sasikala as new Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

Their were speculations that Sasikala's camp has urged top officials in government to create arrangements for her oath taking ceremony and it has got a severe reaction for not-communicating with state Governor. The two state governor also asked the DGP to confirm there was any pressure forced on MLAs to support either of the contenders.

The State Governor, on Friday, directed officials to remove section 144 at Marina Beach, which was inflicted by Chennai police regarding the large people gathering for swearing in. Also, he suggested to officials not to take any resolution without his approval as the state government is under huge political crisis.
