Last week Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan took up the problems of Uddanam Nephropathy patients to the government.
Reacting to that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu introduced several relief measures including Lifetime Pension for those affected, Funding for Research, Dialysis centres etc.
Pawan Kalyan said that Chandrababu Naidu understood the seriousness of the problem when compared the to another local minister, Atchennaidu.
He also asked all political parties to take this issue seriously and put pressure on the central government as well so that a proper solution is given.
The chief minister also assured to solve the Uddanam kidney patients’ issue and instruct all the officials to work out a lasting solution to the patients’ distress.
Pawan Kalyan was so happy with the relief measures that he lauded Chandrababu Naidu’s positive step on social handle twitter.
Pawan Kalyan tweeted that "Jana welcomed Naidu ji’s positive response towards patients of Uddanam nephropathy issue."
“Relief measures announced by the state government, in aid of these victims of destiny is the first positive step in the long journey of #Uddanam nephropathy. I felt Sri CBN ji understood the gravity and seriousness of the victims’ pain and suffering in Uddanam kidney issue than the Hon Minister Sri Atchannaidu, who hails from Srikakulam,” Pawan tweeted.
"He also gave a preaching to all the other political parties, stating that it is their social responsibility to address the issue of #Uddanam nephropathy till it is eradicated completely. It should feature in every party’s manifesto in future", he said.
“Jana Sena Party will put its best efforts in a sustained manner, not only for the Uddanam cause, but also in the days to come we will look into issues which are hindering the growth of Kalinga Andhra and Uttarandhra region,” he said.
