“Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa Suffers Cardiac Arrest, Health is Critical”- Apollo Hospital

After spending months in Apollo hospital, doctors had recently announced that Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa will soon be discharged. As her AIADMK cadres got some relief that their leader's health was better, another shocking news was announced. It is said that Jayalalithaa got a cardiac arrest on Sunday night after which the doctors announced that she is critical.
"Our doctors are closely monitoring Hon'ble CM's condition and they are trying their very best," Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director of Apollo Hospitals, tweeted.
"68-year-old Jayalalithaa is critical", she said in an earlier tweet, adding that "the AIADMK chief was on extracorporeal membrane heart assist device and being treated by a team of expert doctors and critical care specialists."
“Dr Richard Beale from London has also been consulted and he has concurred with the line of treatment by our cardiologists & pulmonologists” Apollo Hospital tweeted.
Jayalalithaa was admitted to Apollo hospital on September 22 this year after she complained of illness. She was undergoing treatment at the hospital since then.
