Pak Army Violates Ceasefire in Rajouri, 1 Soldier Killed & 3 Injured

For the third time, Pakistani army resorted to heavy cross-border firing in Rajouri sector of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday night. A soldier was killed and three others got injured in the ceasefire violation in less than 24 hours.
"The firing is being responded to and will be responded to appropriately", the Northern Command of Indian Army said in a tweet.
The incident took place a day after Pakistani troops targeted Indian posts and civilian. A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan and a woman got injured when Pakistan army attacked with mortar and small arms fire in the areas along the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera and Sunderbani sectors of Rajouri.Two houses were also damaged by the army.
Around 286 such incidents of firing and shelling have taken place along the LoC and the International Border (IB) in Jammu and Kashmir by Pakistani troops. This has resulted in the death of 26 people, including 14 security personnel after Indian army launched the surgical strike on terrorist launch pads in PoK on September 29.
