YS Jagan Reddy To Contest By-Election On SCS Issue

The President of YSRCP Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has made a significant statement in Kurnool at the Yuvabheri meeting by asserting that his party is ready to contest by-election on the sole issue of Special Category Status (SCS).

Jagan said that his party is going to stall the proceedings of the Parliament in the winter session for the cause and continue to do in future. He said that if SCS is not granted, then the party will resign and will demand a fresh mandate.

He asked that when the separate Telangana state, which was impossible but was made possible, cannot they grant SCS which was promised in the Parliament. By condemning that the government is slapping charges against the students fighting for the cause, he has assured that the total fee reimbursement will be given to the students if the party comes in power. Throughout his speech, he explained in detail the importance of the SCS.
