Famous Marathi actress and classical dancer Ashwini Ekbote is no more. Ekbote died on Saturday night after she suffered a heart attack while she was performing on stage.

The 44-year-old dancer, had earned several accolades for her theatre performances. She also acted in many Tv serials and films. Ekbote was giving a stage performance at the Bharat Natyamandir in Pune when she collapsed suddenly. She was immediatly rushed to a nearby hospital but doctors declared that she is no more.

Fan's of Ekbote's are very shocked. When she collapsed on the stage, she had already performed three classical acts and was about to finish the last. In the audiance, Ekbote's parents, close friends and relatives were present.

Those who knew her for decades, said that "Ekbote didn't have any history of heart-related ailments."
