Krishna Pushkaralu is around the corner and preparations are going on in a full spree. On this occasion, the Nalgonda police came up with a new initiative of Pushkar app. They launched a mobile app for ’Nalgonda Krishna Pushkaralu’.
This app is especially for all devotees who are taking part in the event from across the state. The app is available on Android and iOS and will have all details of the Pushkar ghats across the district with route maps.
Ministers Indrakaran Reddy and Jagadish Reddy released the app during a review of the Pushkar works. The app consist information on parking places, hospitals, ATMs, police stations, petrol bunks and hotels located nearby.
Nalgonda superintendent of police N. Prakash Reddy said “it also provides data on precautionary measures for pilgrims. Users can also access climate information at each ghat using the app. The app will have the mobile numbers of supervising officers for use in an emergency. Users also can upload information of missing persons.The notification alert feature provides updates on traffic jams and rushes at the ghats, It will also have information on nearby temples and tourist places.”
He added that all the details have been updated on the Pushkar website www.nalgondakrishnapushkaralu2016.com.
Apart from this the APSRTC East Godavari unit came up with another initiative. APSRTC will be running 78 special buses for all the pilgrims of Krishna Pushkaralu. This year the Krishna Pushkaralu is going to start from August 12.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will be visiting New Delhi on August 4. He will be formally inviting the President and all top dignitaries for Krishna Pushkaralu.
