Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu did a detailed inspection on Gannavaram airport expansion on Monday. He inquired about the progress of construction of the new terminal building.
He also directed the officials to speed up the work and finish it before Pushkaralu. Naidu expressed extreme dissatisfaction with the slow-running of work.
Naidu instructed the officials concerned to reward those performing well to motivate them to give their best for development of the fledgling airport to global standards.
Deputy Chief Minister N. Chinarajappa, District Collector Babu A. and Airport Director G. Madhusudan Rao were among those who accompanied the Chief Minister.
Later, he spoke to the delegates of International Intelligent Health Summit. The Summit will be organised in Vijayawada on July 10. Dr. Arul Raj, founder-chairman of Commonwealth Medical Association Trust (UK), G. Srinadh Reddy and Dr. Praveen spoke to Naidu about the arrangements for the summit.
