In a tragic incident, a teenage girl died on spot and her brother was injured when they were run over by a speeding lorry on Monday.

According to the police, Gurulatha (17) who was going to her relative’s house on her bike got hit by a speeding lorry at Jammalamadugu bypass road in Kadapa district. She was going to a relative’s house to distribute sweets.

Jammalamadugu police arrested the lorry driver was driving rashly. The driver was drunk due to which this mishap took place. Police have registered a case and shifted the girl’s body to the Government hospital at for post-mortem. Her brother was sent for treatment.

Road accidents happen very often now a days. Police have asked people to be careful why walking on road.
