Responding to the state party call, YSR Congress Party on Wednesday lodged complaints in police stations across the district. Party district president Reddi Shanti that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and the Telugu Desam Party ignored election promises.
Shanti lodged complaint in Srikakulam police station and urged people to know the ‘misrule’ and failures of the TDP government.
She alleged that Naidu has cheated the people by not implementing the promises he made in his party election manifesto in 2014.
MLA Roja also led a rally by riding a scooter to the police station where she lodged the complaint.
YSRC High Power Committee leader Tammineni Sitaram led a protest in Amadalavalasa and filed complaint in the police station. The party leaders expressed happiness over the good response for the programe in the district.
In Tirupati, former MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy lodged the complaint in East police station. Party MLAs including senior leader P Ramachandra Reddy, Desai Thippa Reddy were among others who filed complaint.
