3 year old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by a 46 year old man in Bengaluru.
Sandhya Baradia, a woman residing in Jagjivanram Nagar, has been running a daycare centre at her home.
According to the police, the little girl’s father is an autorickshaw driver, and mother is a private company employee, who leaves the child at the daycare centre from 10.30 am to 5.30 pm, every day.
Just like the routine, the parents picked their child on Thursday evening, who soon started crying, complaining of stomach ache. Worried over this, the parents rushed the kid to the doctors, who informed that, the child might have been sexually assaulted.
It was then, the parents lodged complaint against Sandhya and her husband Chainrup Baradia. The police have registered a case under several sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and have arrested the accused.

Sandhya Baradia has been arrested for running the daycare centre without permission from the authorities, the police said.
After conducting the medical examination on the accused and the victim, the police confirmed the assault.
“The daycare centre too started functioning a few months ago. There is no information on how many children had been enrolled into the crèche. It did not have CCTV cameras on its premise as required by law,” the police said.
During counselling, the girl said that “The uncle hurt me with his fingers”, while her parents said that, their kid was bleeding from her private parts when they picked her from the creche. The police have recorded the statements of the girl and her parents.
While the wife runs the daycare centre, Chainrup worked at a book shop in Gandhinagar, the police said.
The 3 year old girl was recently sexually assaulted by a dance teacher at a summer camp that was being held in a private school in Kempapura near Hebbal and the accused teacher Peter was arrested by the Amruthahalli police.
