While the JNU is on full heat with the ongoing debate on nationalism, BJP MLA from Alwar, Gyandev Ahuja took out another controversial issue relating to the university.
Speaking out at a protest march at his constituency, the MLA said that over 3,000 used condoms, 10,000 cigarette butts, and 500 used abortion injections are recovered from the premises on a daily basis.
Not stopping there, Ahuja further said that, about 2,000 Indian and foreign liquor bottles, 50,000 big and small pieces of bones, 2,000 wrappers of chips and 4,000 pieces of 'beedis' are found everyday in the campus.
Tuning the anti-national events of the JNU students, Ahuja said, “I want to put before you the facts, which have come through social media and television channels. When Maa Durga’s Ashtami is celebrated, they celebrate Mahishasura’s Jayanti.
Students are mostly found taking drugs after 8 pm inside the campus. Those studying in JNU are not children, but parents of two children. They indulge in peace protests in the mornings and during the nights, they perform obscene dance.”
Ahuja said that he even noticed the aluminium foil that the 'drug-addicts' use to take drugs, in the premises of the university.
All these activities should be considered, while dealing with the university students, said Ahuja, who even slammed Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi for supporting JNU students.
Meanwhile, JNU Students Union Chief, Kanhaiya’s bail plea hearing would be held today. Earlier the court denied his bail. It should be seen, whether the court’s decision would vary today or not.
