Kapus row: Mudragada’s health deteriorates!

Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham, is continuing his indefinite fast on the second day too, along with his wife, at his residence itself.

The uncompromising Mudragada, who challenged that, he would not drop the fast, until the government makes a move regarding Kapus inclusion in BCs, is continuing the fast today.

Currently, the concerned officials are conducting a few medical tests on Mudragada couple. Changes in BP and sugar levels of Kapu Chief, are worrying the other Kapus now.

Speaking to the media, Mudragada said, the government is just trying to bluff the public, diverting the issue, to a different route, showing illogical reasons.

In support to the age old leader, several other Kapus have started hunger strikes in Amalapuram clock tower area. All such leaders have busted on AP government that it is unnecessarily delaying the promise and even warned that the situation would turn more violent, if it do not compromise.

They have demanded to release all the people arrested during Kapus agitation on Sunday.

Naidu heated up Kapus agitation!

It is to be observed that Kapus have been silent for decades, and away from any type of violence related activities. But heat in them was raised by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, after he promised during 2014 elections, to include Kapus in BCs.

Before his promise, no doubt Kapus have suffered from several financial issues. Lack of the basic needs like quality education, food and other issues, pinched them to declare a war like this, on the government at once.

One can easily understand a point that, there would be no disturbance among BCs, if at all, Kapus are included in OBC category and awarding them reservation quota, for higher studies and such other requirements.

The rivalry between BCs and Kapus only takes place when it comes a question of losing the employment opportunities. But rest other needs like fee discounting and such others would not disturb much. So it would be better if the government notes this point and announce a positive news to Kapus soon, before the situations turn worse.
