Software giant Microsoft CEO, Satya Nadella has visited T-hub in Hyderabad and also met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and signed an MoU.
IT Minister KTR earlier said that, Nadella will visit today and added, “We are planning to inaugurate some of our initiatives during that time. We are also inviting some other dignitaries.”
Telangana IT secretary Jayesh Ranjan said, “Nadella will visit T-Hub in the city tomorrow. T-hub is the technological incubation centre set up by the Telangana government. He will interact with start-up entrepreneurs.”
Nadella earlier visited Hyderabad in the last year September and addressed the Microsoft’s employees at its India Development Centre (IDC) in the city and it is today, he visited the city for the second time.
On the other hand, Nadella had even visited AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and signed an MoU to work towards establishing a technologically advanced and knowledge-based economy.
The MoU will support AP, in developing a three proof-of-concept (POC) solutions in the fields of education, agriculture and e-Citizen services.
Microsoft's Azure Machine Learning and Advanced Visualization lab technology will be used by the government, for the predictive analytics. For a sustainable double digit growth and the provision of better public services, this technology will act as a major catalyst, a statement from CMO said.
Offering the assistance in cloud technology, Microsoft even provides the training to the several government officials for the better functioning in agriculture, education and citizen services.
Satya Nadella even agreed to set up a ‘Centre for Excellence’ in Visakhapatnam. He even assured to cooperate AP state government in utilization of cloud data for improving civic services. Nadella further promised to visit Anantapur District during his next visit.
