While MLC elections heat is ongoing in Telangana state, there are many suspicions held on the TRS party, saying that, it is threatening the independent candidates, and making them withdraw their nominations.
The MLC elections in Telangana, are going to be held from December 27th. Though the victory is almost confirmed for the TRS, the party is keen on putting the special concentration on it.
Even before the elections, TRS had already won 6 out of 12 MLC seats. Along with these, it could procure two other seats, after two independent candidates withdrew their nominations in Karimnagar district.
Reportedly, from the close sources, it was found out that, TRS could procure 6 out of 12 MLC seats, due to the over pressurizing the oppositions and even sending life threat warnings.
Not satisfying with the 6 seats, the TRS is still hunting the other oppositions, to clean sweep the MLC elections, gaining almost all the seats. Regarding this, a few of the TRS leaders, including the ministers, are threatening the MPTCs and ZPTCs to surrender to TRS and also vote for the party itself.
TRS had witnessed the hilarious victory in all the elections, after the formation of Telangana state. At a point of time, where TRS is immovable in the Telangana state, shockingly, it faced criticisms from the Warangal public, during Warangal by-poll campaigning.
It was then, the analysts speculated that, TRS would find tough to get good majority in the elections. But, as there is no other strong candidate from the opposition parties and even KCR assured to keep all his promises, TRS candidate Pasunuri Dayakar had won with the record majority and all the opposition parties, could not even get the deposits.
It was then, TRS strength has been redefined among the public and opposition parties. It seems, now the party leaders are keen on developing that confidence and so are reportedly threatening all the oppositions, including the independent candidates, to withdraw their nomination for the MLC elections.
