Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that he will develop Rayalaseema region at bullet speed.
A few days back, YSRCP leader Mysoora Reddy, opposed AP government policies, saying that, Naidu is acting against Seema. He even hinted to start Rayalaseema movement soon.
Countering such statements, Naidu now said, “Rayalaseema is my home town, how can I do injustice to it. I will go ahead like a bullet, unfazed by threats and blackmailing by detractors, I will make sure that, Rayalaseema is not neglected, until my last breath.”
Naidu had attended foundation stone laying ceremony of the Urdu university at Orvakal. He even allotted 125 acres for the purpose and sanctioned Rs. 80 crore, with an initial sum of Rs. 20 crore, for the university.
“The university will be made an education hub, with an investment of 900 acres, and also an international airport and an industrial hub would come up around the university,” he said.
Haj House in Kadapa, Rayalaseema
Naidu further announced a slew of incentives, like a Haj House and a branch of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Law University in Kadapa, a hardware park in Chittoor, industrial and manufacturing hub in Kurnool district, along with the assurance of making Kurnool, a smart city.
He announced monthly honorarium of Rs. 3,000 to Imams and Rs. 5,000 to Moazzams would be paid from December. The District Selection Committee test would be held to fill all vacant Urdu teacher posts in the State, Naidu added.
Industrial corridor via Kurnool, Rayalaseema
Naidu even assured an industrial corridor from Hyderabad to Bangalore via Kurnool. A six-lane green field express highway would come up from Kurnool to AP new capital Amaravati.
Naidu even countered about the criticism raised by Srisailam reservoir level saying that, the reservoir was not maintained at 854 ft. He said that, the government will soon assure that, the 60 tmc ft water stored in Srisailam reservoir in Kurnool district and 70 tmc ft water in Gandikota in Kadapa district would be used soon.
Along with this, Naidu even assured that under ‘Mee Intiki Mee Bhoomi programme’, the government had initiated land reforms and was resolving issues to help the farmers.
Upon the above statements of Naidu in Rayalseema, the political analysts say that, Naidu is making sure that, the state bifurcation history does not repeat, and is so assuring the overall development of all the regions in Andhra Pradesh.
