“A few Mumbai police had several links with the most wanted terrorist Dawood Ibrahim,” Underworld don Chhota Rajan said.
It is known that, Chhota Rajan was recently arrested in Bali, Indonesia. The arrest took place, after the Australian police hinted Indian officials stating that, Rajan had travelled to Bali with a fake Indian passport, by the name Mohan Kumar. The Indonesian and Australian police jointly worked to nab Rajan.
Now Rajan started to make fresh allegations on the police stating, “I don’t trust Mumbai police, they have committed atrocities on me and even have links with Dawood. I am not scared of Dawood and I will continue to fight against him and terrorism.”
Indonesian police will submit details of the cases, for which he is wanted in India and later, Rajan is expected to be produced before the court. In the next few hours, Rajan is expected to be deported to India.
Currently, CBI officers, Mumbai and Delhi police are in Bali, with all the detailed documents about Rajan and his crime history.
Rajan is the most wanted criminal in more than 75 cases like murder, extortion to smuggling and drug trafficking.
Rajan was questioned by the Indonesian police several times in the last few days to confirm his identity and criminal acts in India. The Indian officials have already provided the documents to their Indonesian counterparts about Rajan’s Indian identity to facilitate his deportation.
Rajan and Dawood once maintained a good friendship between them. But they got separated after the 1993 Mumbai blasts case, which took away 260 lives. Rajan said that, he opposed the attack.
In 2000, there was an murder attempt on Rajan, when Dawood’s men tracked him down to a hotel in Bangkok, but he managed a dramatic escape.
