Modi to meet Netaji’s family members today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s family members  at his residence in New Delhi today.

Netaji death mystery is one such case, which is haunting many of his followers and fans across the world. When Bengal government declassified 64 Netaji files, a few of the unknown facts are found. It was then, the people expected that, more facts can be found if all the files relating to Netaji, are declassified.

Regarding this, even Bengal government asked the Centre to declassify all the files relating to Netaji. Now around 50 family members of Netaji, are approaching the Prime Minister’s residence, reportedly, to seek the declassification of the files.

Referring to this, in his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme in the past, Modi said that, he is privileged to meet Netaji Subhas Chandrabose family at PM’s residence. “No Prime Minister got this opportunity in the past, so I feel I am lucky to invite them and waiting for the day eagerly,” he added.

Modi even recalled his meeting with a few of the family members of Netaji in Kolkatta in May and said, “On that day itself, the decision was taken to meet the family members and last week I got the confirmation that more than 50 members are of Subhas Babu are coming to visit the Prime Minister's residence.”

Netaji movement to global level!

Netaji’s grandnephew Chandra Bose has said, “We will appeal to Modi to write to countries including Singapore, Japan, China, Russia, Malaysia, America, UK and Japan  to declassify all Netaji files lying with them, as it was believed that, Netaji was in touch with all the countries. We even want to take the movement to the global level, for finding out more facts.”

On the other side, Abhijit Ray, another grand nephew, of Netaji questions that, when Indian government itself could not declassify all the files, how can we ask the other countries to do so.
So, as per Abhijit Ray, hope the Indian government declassifies all the files relating to Netaji and later approach other countries and disclose all the facts of Netaji.

It is the minimum respect, the government should give for Subhas Chandrabose, for his historical struggle for the freedom of the country. So hope the government takes Netaji death mystery issue seriously and solves it as early as possible.
